Samaritan was proud to be recognized as the Powering Progress Sponsor for the 2022 JDRF Promise Galas in Memphis, Tennessee, and Greenville South Carolina and in attendance for both Gala’s Over 2.7M dollars was raised in Tennessee between the three Promise Gala’s and over $500,000 was raised in Greenville alone. Please plan to attend the 2023 JDRF Galas in Memphis and Greenville on April 29th.
For the 2022 Memphis Gala, Samaritan was excited to have our Chief Science Officer Jeremy Mercuri, PhD, and acting professor of biomedical engineering at Clemson University and his wife Jennifer join our local friends and supporters at the Peabody celebrating the progress made and raising awareness and funds to improve lives and cure type 1 diabetes.
The entire Samaritan Leadership team was able to attend the 2022 JDRF Promise Ball in Greenville, South Carolina. During the visit we were able to enjoy multiple team building experiences, visit our research and development facilities at CUBEiNC (Clemson University Biomedical Engineering Incubator), and attend the Gala together along with one of our college interns, local physicians, and other entrepreneurs that help fuel the economic growth of Greeneville.
Samaritan will honor its pledge to support JDRF again during the 2023 Galas for both Greenville and Memphis, which happen to be on the same date April 29th. Every year we continue to see the dividends of the research and access advocacy sponsored by JDRF. We are all looking forward to a day where we can live the tagline of turning Type 1 into Type None.
