Samaritan Biologics, Memphis, TN successfully helped Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation secure a collectible rare bottle of whiskey from Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky to raise funds for research for type 1 diabetes.
The Buffalo Trace distillery keeps every millionth barrel in a separate warehouse, since number 2 million. 3 generations of the Johnson family signed the barrel before it was put in warehouse number 5 in 2008. 400 bottles from the sixth millionth barrel were offered to charities to be used as a fundraiser effort.
